A.S. Hornby Educational Trust Scholarships are awarded annually to English teachers outside the UK and a master’s degree as a foreign language from Warwick University.
Trust was founded in 1961 by A. S. Hornby and supports English education around the world. A.S. Hornby has a well-known career in ELT and has developed the Oxford Advanced Learners’ Dictionary which is published in the 9th edition of Oxford University Press (Oxford University Press). Trust is a registered charity in the UK.
TESOL MA Scholarship Fund of Warwick University
The scholarship includes all costs in the UK, including monthly subsidies to cover accommodation and living expenses, tuition fees, return tickets, visa, and IELTS expenses.
Applicants who are awarded must have at least two full-time employment and a full university degree and must be citizens of qualified countries. Hornby scholarships are designed to support experienced English teachers who may make meaningful contributions to their English teachers and teachers in their home countries after returning from the UK.
Candidates are selected according to a four step process. In the first step, the quality of the application will be evaluated. In the second phase, the selected candidate will be invited to an interview at your British Council office. In the third step, the selected candidate will apply to the university. In the fourth stage, candidates are accepted into the university. After that, the scholarship will be confirmed by the candidate.
